Family law
Kira has developed a busy family law practice, representing both Applicants and Respondents at the County Court. Kira receives instructions in both private law and public law proceedings. Her work has included representing local authorities and parents at various stages of care proceedings including case management hearings, contested interim removal hearings, issue resolution hearings and final hearings.
Kira is regularly instructed in private law matters including matters concerning allegations of domestic abuse and allegations of abuse towards children. Kira is experienced in representing clients at all stages of private law disputes from conciliation to fact-finding hearings and final hearings.
Criminal law
Kira is regularly instructed on behalf of both the Crown Prosecution Service and the defence in matters before the Magistrates Courts. Kira has dealt with a wide range of matters including public order offences, theft, offences against the person and driving offences.
Kira is instructed in relation to sentences, bail applications and trials.
Kira regularly represents the police in applications for Domestic Violence Protection Orders as well as disclosure applications on behalf of the police and the CPS before the Family Court.
Civil law
Kira represents Claimants and Defendants in relation to small claims including road traffic accidents and building disputes.
